The purpose of the Casing-to-Rig Monitor (SFT-111) is to allow continuous monitoring of any voltages that may exist between the wellhead and the rig.
The SFT-111 is a fully portable device that provides a full scale reading of 0.5V AC or DC, yet can withstand 120 V continuously without damage. The device is sealed and can be left out in the rain.
Two SFT-111 Meter Leads (H117555 or H117556) are used , one to attach to the wellhead and one to be attached to the rig. Thirty feet of cable is used on each lead to allow the instrument to be placed on the pipe rack, catwalk or rig floor.
