Product Overview

FOAM20561A is a surfactant for unloading gas wells. This product has good foaming properties in wells with greater than 75% condensate present in the fluid.

Recommended Applications

Product can be applied in batch applications for remedial treatment programs based on bulk fluid to be removed. The most common application is to shut-in the well and drop the stick in through a lubricator.

Feeding and Dosage

Dosage will vary depending on reservoir pressure. The number of sticks to be used is based on the volume of fluid above the perforations (approximately 8 to 17 sticks per barrel of fluid). Falling velocity is approximately 100 feet per minute, and the stick will dissolve within 30 to 80 minutes depending on temperature, salt content, and relative water motion. The sticks can be used independently or in conjunction with gas generating sticks. Sticks should be stored in a cool dry place. Observe normal precautions for industrial chemicals and keep away from heat, sparks, and open flames. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
